Recently, I had the unique experience of attending a SEO and Digital Marketing workshop in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This was my first time participating in an in-person marketing event.

Despite my preference for the flexibility that comes with remote work, I can't deny the benefits of stepping out into the sunlight and attending in-person events.


As someone who enjoys meeting new people and expanding my network, I found the event to be incredibly enjoyable. It was a chance to feel the warmth of human interaction and connect with individuals who share similar interests and goals.




During a women's day celebration back in March, I met a wonderful lady -Kristina, who shared my passion for analytics, social media, and digital marketing. We hit it off and stayed in touch online, supporting each other on social media. When she posted about the workshop, I was thrilled and even invited a fellow expat friend who also works remotely to join us.


Attending this workshop has helped me understand that regardless of how skilled or experienced you are, it's important always to keep the basics in mind. Even if people consider you an expert in your field, there is always value in revisiting fundamental concepts.


Even though I am not an SEO expert, as a marketer, it is important for me to have a good understanding of how it works and how to apply it to my marketing strategy. It might be called SM or something else, but having at least basic knowledge is essential.


After attending an event hosted by Kristina and Marianna, I was inspired to write this post. My aim is to provide you with a better understanding of why SEO is essential for your online coaching business or for any business since SEO is a MUST-HAVE for any online business.
